This morning, puppy Shadow and I —
drove out to Griffy Lake, for a get-away hike up and down the hill.
And over to the stream that feeds the lake.
Just that single prolonged shift in my attention rebooted my nervous system. Thank you, water; thank you, trees.
Forest bathing… mindfulness and energetic connection to the all-our-relations…
