Probably because for every action there is a reaction. Both the fake, capitalist, market, destructive, monocultural version of oneness, called “globalization,” and the virtual, serious, trivial, playful, still-free, simulated version of oneness called “the internet” are proceeding so quickly to tear down the remaining walls between us that the forces of reaction just naturally set in.

Until we can decompartmentalize our own psyches and see through our own egos, until we can vibrate in resonance with all beings everywhere — above and below, within and without — we’ll keep trying to fend off those we are taught to consider “other.”
