While I personally feel called to remain in the U.S., no matter how crazy it gets, a part of me would love to follow up on this post, go to Spain, or another country where villages have been abandoned, and start again with my friends and family.

Meanwhile, staying here at home, for me, means following the lead of the 30-year old N-Street Cohousing in Davis, California, transforming our suburban neighborhoods themselves into villages, starting with changing our perceptions, remembering that we are neighbors, in relationship with each other! I mean, duh!
