Three great local food stories

Stories about localizing food are proliferating almost as rapidly as Occupy stories. No way to keep up with it all! Here’s three stories just from the past two days.

In this one, a town in England decides to grow all its own fresh produce! And for this, it’s called “eccentric” . . .

In Denver, a “School turns abandoned athletic field into organic garden that grows thousands of pounds of produce to serve in cafeteria”.

And finally, we are learning to network and scale up our efforts. I’ll show this one here, created for the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture.
