Superlative Tiny House Design

My long dead first husband, an architect who loved to experiment with new types of design that married function to form and materials, would have approved. And, it’s priced right: $8000. Not even as much as a yurt! Having lived in a yurt for nearly 20 years, I can say that tiny house living is, at least for me, ideal. The fewer our “material needs,” more lightly we live on the land, the freer our imaginations, the larger our capacity to serve the whole.

Those who would rather build their own tiny house might object to the fact that it is manufactured and has to be shipped — at this point, from Holland! So with that caveat, here we go.

This tiny house takes one day to build and can last 100 years.
