I’m not yet hooked up at home, so this evening I’m plugged in at a neighbor’s house for an hour. Only have time to answer emails, but here are a few provocative links:
The Toronto Hearings on 9/11, schedule and live coverage
Number of people on earth currently experiencing an orgasm: I mention this because I ran into my friend Sandy at Bloomingfoods, and she told me that she read somewhere that the number of women currently experiencing an organism on earth in any one minute is 70,000. I found that hilarious and wonderful. Decided to google it, and came upon a discussion group that has many different estimates . . .
Sandy also told me that the Dalai Lama, Desmond Tutu and nine other Nobel Peace Prize Laureates came out against the Tar Sands Pipeline. YES! Click here.
Back to Bakehouse internet access tomorrow afternoon, hopefully, after a three-hour 10 am to 1 p.m. retreat with activists from other neighborhoods to decide the direction of overall neighborhood connectivity and common cause in Bloomington . . .
BTW: See the last two comments under Recent Comments on this site, about Paris Tosen’s predicted false alien invasion scenario that did not happen today, 9/9/11 (unless somebody squeezes it in during the next 3 hours and 18 minutes . . .).
Blessings!
