This RT report from yesterday is interesting, because of course the only solution to the problem of nuclear weapons is to eliminate them entirely. How can the U.S. possibly ask others to not go or stay nuclear when our military/industrial empire is armed to the teeth with nukes and all sorts of other god-awful weapons, occupies at least 1000 bases world-wide, and starts wars with impunity? Perhaps this news will be viewed in the long run as one more step along the way to humanity’s finally realizing that there are no “responsible nuke states,” that nuclear energy, whether for weapons or energy is a deal-breaker, if we intend to evolve as a species.
