Robert Anton Wilson: "Nobody made pranayama illegal yet, because it's impossible to enforce."

I read Robert Anton Wilson’s early book, “The Mind Parasites,” way back in 1973. It really creeped me out, and — I recognized its truth. My own mind had been taken over, and I was beginning to realize it.

(What especially helped me during those early years of waking up, was the practice of “self-remembering,” as I received it from the writings of Ouspensky, a disciple of Gurdjieff. “Self-remembering” became my way to wake up in the present moment, over and over and over again. (See also Ken Wilbur.))

For years, I picked up each of Wilson’s books in turn, grateful for his presence in the world.

Here’s Robert Anton Wilson (d. 2007) talking about “reality tunnels,” and “intelligence looking at intelligence.” Thanks to globalone.tv/video.
