I was appalled to see/hear of Bostonians’ response to the apprehension of the one remaining so-called “suspect” from the Boston Bombing. Huh? Was this, this lock-down of an entire metropolitan area by 9000 police/troops to find one teenager a natioanl sporting event? Apparently the collective brainwashing worked. In spades. Reminds me of all the U.S. flags that suddenly appeared, right after 9/11.
Thank goodness, I’m not alone in feeling this terrible sense that something has gone terribly wrong with the way we respond to tragic events in America.
