Okay, folks, all the signs are in. This is the year when we not just think and talk about what we must do, but the year when we do it, whatever it is, each of us following our own burgeoning, blossoming, original unique nature into the light and love that both fills and fuels the universe. As Laura Bruno noted, in a thoroughly radiated environment, we need to absorb this energy, transform it into spiritual food, feel our connection to the Earth, and radiate our glorious full to bursting natures into the world, no matter what the cost.

Chris Hedges has been putting out gloomy calls to action for quite some time. The one this week is particularly potent:

The Last Gasp of American Democracy

Excerpt:

The structures of the corporate state must be torn down. Its security apparatus must be destroyed. And those who defend corporate totalitarianism, including the leaders of the two major political parties, fatuous academics, pundits and a bankrupt press, must be driven from the temples of power. Mass street protests and prolonged civil disobedience are our only hope. A failure to rise up—which is what the corporate state is counting upon—will see us enslaved.

Here’s a great piece of history just now released into a book that is guaranteed to help rev up our r/evolutionary motors. Check out this fabulous democracy now interview with three little known activists, their successful “robbery” of an obscure FBI office that helped bring down J. Edgar Hoover and start the whistleblower era rolling in the aftermath of the Uranus/Pluto conjunction (1964-68). Now we’re moving through the heart of the opening square between these two giant planets (2012-2015); no wonder our whistles are again blowin’ in the wind.

The couple involved tells us they had three young children at the time, so their action was decidedly risky, and they knew it. And yet, their thrust towards illuminating truth to the public was so powerful that, with meticulous planning, they did the action anyway. Afterwards, Hoover had 200 agents on their tail, but “There were thousands of us. It was easy to hide.” Watch to the whole thing. It’s a wild ride, and bound to get out of bed and on your feet, ready to go.
