I love this video, and thank Keith for it. It reminds me of the kind of impact we have on the world when we simply “follow our nature” and “do our thing,” two catch-phrases from the fabled ’60s that propelled me, for one, into authentic expression of the self within the larger world.
About ten days ago, I received this email.
So, yesterday, after emails back and forth, this socially and environmnentally conscious group of beautiful students from Rose Hulman drove over in a van and toured our little eco-pod as part of their research for a regenerational project in the heart of downtown Terra Haute, four square blocks that are literally “empty,” and ripe for permaculture. YES!
Probably the most important function of our Green Acres eco-pod is as a template for the future, a “seed,” if you will. And so, despite the dreary winter day when everything looks pretty forlorn, they stayed for about an hour, and I think they got the drift, though they were quite shy. I talked a lot. There was one question: “Do you eat the chickens?” Answer: “No. They are pets!”
Who knows what seeds will explode out of their young, creative hearts!

…how wonderful that you have a paradigm in place; ready to share!
Yes, and today someone emailed from Wyoming, wants to come stay and work with us for about a week this spring or summer. All because he’s reading this blog. Whooee!
