Salt Lake City Activist Tim DeChristopher’s Peaceful Uprising is a mighty band, full of “Joy and Resolve.” DeChristopher spontaneously decided to enter an auction as Bidder #70 for oil and gas leases with no intention of paying for them . . . See previous post.
Now he faces jail for up to ten years. A scary thought, except, as DeChristopher puts it: “Obedience [to the corporatist state], to me, is far scarier than going to prison.”
Alex Ebert, lead singer of Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes, traveled to Utah in February in support of Tim DeChristopher. He filmed this wonderful little music video in support of DeChristopher.
