Remember: the money matrix is just a thin scrim hovering over the natural world like smog. We humans created it a long time ago and each of us born into “civilization” gets caught up early on . We can also learn to see through the money matrix to the extraordinary regenerating abundance of the natural world below. It sits shimmering there. We need only immerse ourselves.

Last Monday, Labor Day, I “labored,” first helping to fertilize Teddie’s fruit trees, and later, helping to clean up Amy’s wildly growing yard. Both experiences gained me one timebank hour each, plunged me into the natural world, and put me into company with others whom I have not known well. Nothing like sweating together to bring out the best in ourselves!
