A few weeks ago, I was told by someone who loves Bill Gates that he has now bought up huge chunks of American farmland. She was excited to tell me this. I was not. Does she really think he’s going to give away land to small farmers? Not likely. Check out this documentary.

One of the reasons given is an obvious one for any billionaire, “to diversify his portfolio,”  land being a good investment. Another reason uses the virtue signalling, politically correct word “sustainability,” a word already ruined by the Green Revolution, the Green New Deal, and UN Agendas 21 & 30.

Yes. What would Bill Gates investment in farmland really mean for the individual farmer? For those who want to become farmers? For the real food we need to survive and thrive? I simply don’t trust him at all, no matter how many casual-seeming cashmere sweaters he wears to pull the wool over our eyes.
