Some young people I know were so appalled by (apparently) misogynistic Trumps election that they had planned on going to D.C. for whatever it is that’s going to accompany this latest circus maximus Inauguration. Some kind of female protest, of course.
I counseled against it. Who knows what will be whipped up there, and by whom?
This, from Mike Adams at natural news:
In just ten days the radical left will attempt to overthrow the U.S. government. Here’s why they will fail
Meanwhile, here at home, in response to the extreme emotional reactivity so prevalent in these scary times, just a few days ago friend Vickie referred me to —
www.inauguratetherevolution.com
— a day-long local event that not only moves beyond protest, but straight on ahead into individual and group, creative, networked, responsible action to address the crying needs of our times.
You cannot imagine how glad my young friends are for this change in their plans.
And, my dear reader, you know damn well that if it’s happening here, it’s happening elsewhere. In fact it’s happening everywhere that people’s extreme feelings are waking them up. This is the seed of local responsiveness to Donald Trump. His ascendancy cleared the decks of right/left programming and prepared the ground. The seed is being planted now, and will take root and grow as the year goes on. No matter who you are, no matter what you believe, it’s time to get off the couch and screen and into action. What inspires you? What is your passion? DO THAT. BE THAT. There is no time to lose. The more of us who activate our full beautiful selves, the more of us who allow the Love that powers the universe to move through us, the greater the magical transformation in the cultural atmosphere, the more powerful the shift from mere polarizing destructiveness into miracle, magic, magnificence.
