Getting ready . . . notice the shirt I pull out once a year . . .
Can’t believe how much I’ve morphed from the scrooge-like character of yesteryear who called “Bah humbug” to even a hint of holiday spirit. Something’s changed in me, so fundamentally, that during this darkest time of year my inner joy seems to be actually expanding.
Luckily we had to organize a party or I might have just lifted off!
6-9 p.m. Lots of egg nog and other stuff. Garden tours in the middle of winter with Christmas lights strung around the entire perimeter. What a concept!

Ann, I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the season. Wow, is it loaded for everyone. It’s too bad. I am still working my way out of not so much Scrooge, as much as being-going within. And Christmas is not the same, lifelong customs and sweet get-togethers are over with. I personally love the Winter Solstice, and that is what makes me very, very happy. I’m glad you all are celebrating in the beautiful way that you are. I am, honestly, there with you all in spirit. I feel that you are my heart sisters and brothers in some good ways. You give me something to visualize. I’m very happy, but not in community locally. It’s okay. It’s good for now, actually. Enjoy it all! The lights, the jollity, the ‘nog, dance a little jig or two, and be happy. I know you will. Thank you for sharing this sweet, beautiful window into your, and your brothers and sisters up there, life. Have a Blast, eat good, and get some rest. Awesome! THE HAPPIEST OF WINTER SOLSTICES TO YOU ALL! Peace and Love, Mari Braveheart-Dances
Happy Holydays to you Ann and to the so very many you reach!
Happy Birthday
