George Carlin: “Incremental change? It just seems like the pile of shit is too deep.” TRUE?

This interview was recorded in 2007. Twelve years later, one Jupiter cycle later, where are we as a society? Would Carlin have appreciated DJT? I think so; not Trump’s over the top  materialism, but his undeniable courage, determination, and resilience in pursuit of goals he set for himself decades ago, were he one day to become president. In the face of seemingly insurmountable obstacles, he is boring full steam ahead, to drain the political swamp of laziness, bribery, and corruption — including the unspeakable evil of pedophilia, human trafficking, and satanism.

That plutocrat Trump cannot be bought is crucial. That he needs to learn to walk barefoot on mushrooms in the forest is, however, obvious. But of course he will not. That larger task, to heal the planet and ourselves by reconnecting to her and to our own bodies, is up to all the rest of us, incrementally, little by little; wherever we live, be here, NOW, in this place, on this holy ground. Do what YOU came here to do, without fail, and without fear.

Obviously, I don’t think it too late for incremental change.  Carlin’s teensy-tinsy “spark of idealism” has rekindled in the soul of humanity.

It’s happening now.

The swamp is being drained, and at the same exact time, A SLOWLY MOVING TRANSFORMATION IS ARISING IN TINY POCKETS OF ALIVENESS EVERYWHERE, FROM THE GROUND UP, SEEKING THE SUN.

TRUE?

That he cannot be bought is helpful. That he need to walk barefoot on mushrooms in the forest is obvious. But of course he will not. 1. My instincts suggest Trump’s populist base (which was considerable) will leave Trump if he does not figure out a way to grant Presidential pardon for Assange’s alleged crimes. Assange has become the poster boy for Freedom of The Press. Assange should be granted the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
