i love the part at the end 31:00 on: people are the ones doing everything. people are the ones building the bridges. growing the food. creating the works of art. people are the ones loving. money cannot do that- people can do that.
that is where the power is at. in our hands.
reminds me of scott nearing (& helen who wrote The Good Life and lived it onward from the 1940’s and inspired many), the economics professor in the first half of the 20th century who spoke similar things at the podium & in the classroom, who was blacklisted, fired from his position, had his passport renewal denied. these men and many other humans are able to speak this, pass this along the internet and can be heard. in this way, the internet is a powerful forum. voices are no longer as easily shut down.
this message must make its way through a lot of fear. i can feel it rising in myself. and yet, i can center myself, return to my mantra, only love only light only healing. and begin to act from this space, the one articulated from minute 31:00 onward:
people are the ones doing everything. people are the ones building the bridges. growing the food. creating the works of art. people are the ones loving. money cannot do that- people can do that.
that is where the power is at. in our hands. in our loving hands.
