In a Huff Post article re: seismic danger to nuke plants in the U.S., note the New Madrid fault in the southeast, and its proximity to many, many nuclear power plants. I’ve been in Bloomington , Indiana, for eight years, and hadn’t heard of the New Madrid until this year! Nor did I know just how many nuclear power plants the U.S. already has, nor that they were concentrated in this part of the country!

Nobody here talks about either nuke plants or the New Madrid. And I don’t think it’s because we’re in denial; environmentalist attention is elsewhere — on all the dirty coal plants. Plus, who ever heard of the New Madrid fault? It’s simply not part of the slower, kinder midwest culture. Unlike those edgy folks who sign up for shaking when they choose to live on the the Pacific Rim.

Some internet sources (e.g. Ben Fulford) say the Illuminati have targeted the New Madrid fault next.

Excerpt from the Huff Post article:

“Data from the U.S. Geological Survey and other sources suggest, for example, that “the rate of earthquake occurrence … is greater than previously recognized” in eastern Tennessee and areas including Charleston, S.C., and New Madrid, Mo., according to the NRC document. There are 11 reactors in Tennessee, South Carolina and Missouri.”

I hesitated whether or not to post this, as it’s liable to ratchet up fear. On the other hand, what could be a more concentrated context to practice awareness of the present moment?
