The predictable broohaha from Trump’s decision to remove the U.S. from the Paris Climate Agreement sports the usual weird mixture of politics and “science,” coupled with globalist versus decentralized ideologies. Here’s Rappoport’s version:
Historic: Trump Rejects Paris Climate Treaty
It starts:
June 1, 2017, a day that will live in infamy for the liars, thieves, and killers of the new international economic order. They will see it as infamy, because their plan to sink the economy of America into a final death rattle has been rejected by Trump.
Rappoport also takes a snarky look at how jet-fume-spewing Al Gore has fared in the global warming campaign.
Break Out the CO2 Bubbly; Al Gore is Crying in his Beer
I must admit: when I saw a photo of Al Gore’s mansion, I knew he wasn’t for real. Far from reducing his carbon footprint, he was going the way of the 1%.
Rappoport Excerpt:
Global warming is one of the Rockefeller Globalists’ chief issues. Manipulating it entails convincing populations that a massive intervention is necessary to stave off the imminent collapse of life on Earth. Therefore, sovereign nations must be eradicated. Political power and decision-making must flow from above, from “those who are wiser.”
Globalists want all national governments on the planet to commit to lowering energy production by a significant and destructive percentage in the next 15 years—“to save us from a horrible fate.”
Their real agenda is clear: “The only solution to climate change is a global energy-management network. We (the Globalist leaders) are in the best position to manage such a system. We will allocate mandated energy-use levels throughout the world, region by region, nation by nation, and eventually, citizen by citizen.”
This is the long-term goal. This is the Globalists’ Holy Grail.
Slavery imposed through energy.

The science is supposedly “settled.”. Except that it’s not. See, for example, this:
Russian Scientists dismiss global warming, predict decades of cooling
It turns out that the so-called science behind “global warming” doesn’t take into account solar system and galactic considerations. It’s “frame” is smaller, Earth-based.
And even then, as I have argued forever, especially in the face of doomer Guy McPherson’s conclusions, the map is not the territory. In fact, it’s never the territory!
Just as Rapopport addresses the politics of globalism and its relationship to the global warming campaign, so does Mike Adams of Natural News. Adams goes further, much further, with his claim to turn the tables on the supposed danger of CO2. In fact, he argues, CO2 is good, not bad, for plant life. Plants breathe in CO2. It is their form of oxygen.
The Paris Climate Accord Is GENOCIDE Against Plants, Forests and All Life on our Planet
I have no idea what’s real and what’s not with any of this. But I do tend to gravitate towards the “side” that is being dissed as the one which has something interesting to tell me. And meanwhile, I was excited to see that the infamous, fear-porn weather.com channel (now owned by IBM) hates what Trump just did.
Weather Channel Goes Apocalyptic . . .
And meanwhile, no matter whether Earth is warming or cooling, and no matter what the cause(s), I would think it undeniable that we cannot continue to power up infinite (industrial) economic growth on a finite planet. Isn’t this just common sense? I don’t think Trump realizes that. Yet.
Which is why I’m all for powering down my own use of non-renewable energy, as well as encouraging this attitude in every way I can. Not because I want to be “impoverished,” as some who decry anything to do with global limits on growth, but because I consciously choose to shift my values from selfishly amassing more and more fiat money and things-money-can-buy to partnering harmoniously in community with humans, other species, and our beloved Earth herself.
