Yesterday and the day before, I would pass by my young housemate Brie’s room and glimpse her sitting on the floor, surrounded with magazines, cutting out images. I remember both admiring her tenacity and concentration as well as pondering, what for?
Today, this morning, I see the results, and was so thrilled that I cajoled her to bring her creations, all Christmas presents, out to the kitchen table where I could photograph them.
