I”m planning to go to a conference at St. Mary’s of the Woods College in Terre Haute in July on Deep Transition. The serene radical nuns who run the place remind me of Carolyn Baker, another female elder who, in this video, tells us to recognize each other as necessary for our own survival and future evolution. In other words, we must go beyond “taking care of (just) me and mine” (with guns and isolation). Way beyond! And truly, the only real option if we are to not only survive, but thrive.
