What helps me is to imagine the entire boundless, infinite universe as one humungous self-organizing system. It’s in charge. Not us, not you and not me.

In the matrix, we think we know what we’re doing, or that we should, since the matrix offers illusory parameters by which we think we can measure ourselves and our performance.
