Paris Tosen notes the timing of news about Manning: first the 35-year sentence, then, within 24 hours, the gender switch announcement. I, for one, was startled at the timing, wondered about it. Was this Manning’s idea, to go public right before he’s set to re-enter a nasty prison where inmates can make mincemeat of each other? Or is Tosen right, he’s mind-controlled? Yech.
