Thanksgiving: “Let the gratefulness overflow into blessings . . .”

Even on this day when the whole world is gradually waking up to the dramatic worsening of extreme injustice and inequality, even on this day when we now know that one out of three Americans is already impoverished, still, we give thanks for the half-full glass. Our gratitude fills to overflowing. There’s plenty to go around. Keep giving. Keep expressing. Keep allowing. Allow our gratefulness to overflow into blessings. In this way the world is reborn to abundance, filling with love all the hidden spaces vacated by fear.
