Here’s to the “Plenitude Economy”

Here’s a four minute video that celebrates the idea of working four, rather than five days a week, and turning the time gained into do-it-yourself-with-others projects that build social capital and connections and meanwhile, give the planet a rest. A great first step to regenerating culture, and a great introduction to an more sane way of life for those who are still frazzled and exhausted, driving themselves to work work work to buy buy buy to keep up keep up keep up . . . .

Luckily, the wheels rolled off the rapacious economic engine of growth in 2008, and more and more of us now honor that calamity as a blessing in disguise.
