This is an excellent perspective on the ongoing Plutonian demolition of outmoded global civilization structures. Astrologer Timothy Glenn has a way of outlining complexity that is equal to the task: articulate, and yet understood easily enough for anyone at all familiar with astrology, he outlines the zeitgeistian changes operating via the interacting cycles of especially “outer planets” — those with cycles longer than a human lifetime. Chief among these is Pluto (248 year cycle), god of subterranean wealth (as in “plutocracy”), that inexorable underworld primal motion power that necessitates the processes of both death and rebirth.
Noting Pluto’s geometrical play with both Saturn (30 year cycle) and Uranus (84 year cycle), and paying attention to the timing of sign changes within both tropical and sidereal zodiacs, plus, of course, focusing special attention to the all-important finale, the first return of Pluto in the U.S. chart since its birth in 1776, Glenn lays out with brevity and finesse a remarkably complex process that to me, frankly, seems divinely scripted. Thanks to friend and fellow blogger, Laura Bruno, who notes:
Yesterday morning, before this post came through from Timothy Glenn, in the space between sleep and wakefulness, I had a dream/vision of receiving a new article from Tim. Sure enough, I had received the “pre-email” article. The synchronicity tells me this one’s extra important and will prove prescient in coming years. You don’t need to understand all the complex astrology to get the overall message and overview of key themes and dates.
I became fast friends with Timothy Glenn way back in 2006. His playful humor, excellent teaching skills and collective overviews continue to hit the mark. Many thanks for the latest installment of Global Metamorphosis!
Global Metamorphosis: A Timeline Overview
Pluto spent the bulk of 2008 establishing its presence in the sign of Capricorn. From there, Pluto would spend more than a decade and a half undermining the world’s authoritarian systems, gradually setting them up for replacement. The original Global Metamorphosis article was even written before I started publishing online. Much has changed.
Pluto would not be doing a solo act during all this time, so interplay with other planets would color the planetary transformation. The ever dependable Saturn rules Capricorn and thus merits attention, along with our less than predictable friend Uranus. These disparate influences played significant roles in the Global Metamorphosis from 2012 through 2015.
Saturn and Pluto in Mutual Reception
Saturn entered Scorpio in October of 2012, and finished that sojourn in September of 2015. During those years, Saturn and Pluto operated in Mutual Reception, each occupying the sign ruled by the other. They strengthened and reinforced each other’s efforts.
The Pluto/Scorpio energy involves everything deep, dark, hidden and secret. The Saturn/Capricorn energy involves everything out in the public. So the two teamed up to begin exposing dirty dealings of the world’s control systems, be they governmental, economic, academic, religious or scientific.
Saturn has recently begun another major contribution to the process, but more about that later.
Uranus Square Pluto
The 8 article series on Uranus Square Pluto now seems like a play-by-play coverage of that phenomenon. From our perspective on Earth, the other planets oscillate between direct and retrograde motion. So Uranus and Pluto danced back and forth, exactly squaring each other 7 times. Aside from our geocentric view, there was also the one heliocentric square. Here is the time table:
June 24, 2012
September 19, 2012
May 20, 2013
November 1, 2013
Heliocentric square: November 23, 2013
April 21, 2014
December 14, 2014
March 16, 2015
Let’s couple that with Saturn and Pluto in Mutual Reception:
Begin: October 5, 2012
End: September 18, 2015
This indicates that the ground would be broken in June of 2012, and the laying of the foundation would be completed by September of 2015. For those with the eyes to see, the gauntlet had been thrown by the autumn of 2015. The old world’s control grid had been officially challenged, and it was now Game On.
In the interim, the old system’s death grip on the planet has been broken. The former controllers retain a steadily weakening grip, but their former death grip will not be regained. They have a lot of fight left in them because they know nothing else. They remain intent on wreaking whatever havoc they can, however futile their efforts may prove to be in the end.
Saturn Strikes Again
Just in time for the Solstice, Saturn had entered its own sign of Capricorn on December 20, 2017. Since then, it has been reordering the territory already covered by Pluto. In recent months here in 2019, it has drawn close enough to Pluto to be considered conjunct, although the powerful Saturn/Pluto conjunction will not go exact until January of 2020.
The heliocentric conjunction will occur on January 10, soon followed by the geocentric conjunction on January 12. However, Saturn and Pluto will not be operating on their own. At the geocentric conjunction, we will have the Sun, Ceres, Saturn, Pluto and Mercury in Capricorn, all packed within an orb of less than 2 degrees. Resistance is futile.
You can leap into the breach gleefully, or be dragged along kicking and screaming, or you can invoke the opt-out clause. But nothing will stop what is coming. Revelations in 2020 will challenge the human collective and its fuzzy pictures of reality on an unprecedented scale.
A Tale of Two Zodiacs
Western astrologers use what is called the Tropical Zodiac, which is based on the relationship between the Earth and Sun. Eastern astrologers use what is called the Sidereal Zodiac, which follows the constellations. Both are valid systems for exploring effects of celestial phenomena, albeit on different levels. The two zodiacs have now drifted a little more than 24 degrees apart.
The year 2020 will also witness Pluto entering the sign of Capricorn in the Sidereal Zodiac, while still in Capricorn in the Tropical Zodiac. We might anticipate an effect like Pluto in Capricorn on steroids. The Global Metamorphosis will be notched up as Pluto does its triple transit over the cusp as follows:
February 26, 2020: Pluto enters Sidereal Capricorn.
June 29, 2020: Pluto retrogrades back into Sidereal Sagittarius.
December 31, 2020: Pluto reenters Sidereal Capricorn for the long haul.
Pluto will not begin its quintuple transit over the cusp of Aquarius in the Tropical Zodiac until April 23, 2023. This will give us a little over two and a quarter years of uninterrupted Pluto in Capricorn in both zodiacs simultaneously. Altogether, we will experience these effects for about four and a half years, from February 26, 2020 until November 19, 2024. Here is the time table for Pluto working its way into Aquarius in the Tropical Zodiac:
April 23, 2023: Pluto enters Tropical Aquarius.
June 11, 2023: Pluto retrogrades back into Tropical Capricorn.
January 21, 2024: Pluto reenters Tropical Aquarius.
September 2, 2024: Pluto retrogrades back into Tropical Capricorn.
November 19, 2024: Pluto reenters Tropical Aquarius for the long haul.
Meanwhile, Back in the USA
The United States wields tremendous influence over the entire world. In 2022, the United States will incur its Pluto Return, while Pluto is in Capricorn in both zodiacs. Indeed, this “just happens” to occur during that two and a quarter year window of uninterrupted Pluto in Capricorn on steroids.
It will fall upon the shoulders of the American public to wake up, grow up and get real. We can trust that by then, the Corporate Propaganda Machine will have been undeniably exposed as the fraudulent enterprise it has been all along, and the puppeteers will be seen for the predators they are. Truth will out.
Our Global Metamorphosis will not end at that point, but merely work its way over the hump. From then on, the world will be ours to evolve to its fullest potential and beyond. A love-based Earth experience awaits us with infinite possibilities.
