While I enjoy blogging, and the research associated with it, I also relish my times off-line, when I re-member my interdependency with Earth — not just two or three hours a day when I am either walking puppy Shadow or gardening but always, and in all ways. Indeed, I consider this good earth my primary partner in a short precious life during which my soul is incarnated as/in one small portion of her beautiful aliveness.
BTW: You might want to check the greenacresvillage.org site later today. Brie will have posted this week’s “communique” to our Green Acres Urban Farm’s four CSA members. And BTW: momentum for the Green Acres village-within-a-neighborhood is gathering quickly this summer. More on that later.

Actually, Brie, that was yours truly who heard the sound of chipping and followed it to the source. Give me some credit, will ya? And when I talked with Kathleen, I realized she not only had a very personal relationship with that beautiful sycamore in her back yard, but referred to the tree as “he.”
