Geo-polarity collapse? What kind of augur are we looking at here? First noted two days ago on Robert Scribbler’s blog.
The phenomenon, whatever it is, has taken different titles in various alternative media, e.g. raw story and alternet:
and then, “four hours ago” gets supposedly debunked by the washington post:
So, what, my friends, is real? What source or sources do you trust? And why?
I do like the story for at least its analogicical implication that polarities are beginning to dissolve and that while this dissolution may be scary, it’s also necessary in order to transform our polarized, either/or view of the world: me vs. you, us versus them, right brain vs left brain, mind vs. body, male vs. female, black vs. white, yin vs yang, nature vs nurture, on and on, all dualities proliferating in a world wherein we, as individuals, do not yet recognize that whatever we see or think is “out there” first has its origins “in here,” and that whenever we project one side of any equation out, then we lose our balance. The solution is always to “take back our projections,” recognize that what we “hate” or “fear” is a part of ourselves, a part that has been denied, frozen, feared, buried in the unconscious — until unconsciously projected. The recent Mars in Scorpio backup process has put many of us back in touch with these unrecognized, unacknowledged, dishonored, split-off parts of ourselves. Let’s make peace with all of them! Let us heal. And to heal is to become whole. Both/and. Me and you. Left and right. Yin and yang. Body and mind. Etc. There are no others. There is only the one expanding “self,” stretching to infinity.
Step inside the center of your persnal “self” to notice the calm abiding spaciousness, that presence, this mysterious continuum in which all your nervous cogitations are held. Even a momentary glimpse can shift everything. Even that one glimpse shatters illusions of separation.
