How to navigate Life in the End Times?

As more and more people wake up to the ongoing and accelerating End Game consequences of humanity’s centuries-long rape of Mother Earth, we face enormous challenges — not in the least the challenge of helping both ourselves and others expand into love rather than contract into fear.

This morning I was having breakfast at Oakwood Retreat Center with a Chi Kung group. One of the teachers, a Chinese woman in the U.S. for the very first time, speaks excellent English. It turns out that she teaches English in China! When I asked her how she learned to speak English without an accent, she responded, “For me, English has always felt like music!”  When asked to tell us about her U.S, Customs interview to decide whether or not she would be allowed in, she responded, and I paraphrase, something like this: “It was wonderful, actually. If you go in there with your soul open and showing, the people in uniform show their soul to you!”

I told her that I think this is universally true. That it has been my experience as well. No matter where I am, if I reach through the eyes to another’s soul with my own, that person does allow the unveiling, and shines forth from within. Sometimes without even knowing it! And though this miraculous communion between us may only last a fraction of a second, it both lifts and opens the heart.

We Were Made for These Times

Excerpt:

One of the most calming and powerful actions you can do to intervene in a stormy world is to stand up and show your soul. Soul on deck shines like gold in dark times. The light of the soul throws sparks, can send up flares, builds signal fires, causes proper matters to catch fire. To display the lantern of soul in shadowy times like these – to be fierce and to show mercy toward others; both are acts of immense bravery and greatest necessity.

Struggling souls catch light from other souls who are fully lit and willing to show it. If you would help to calm the tumult, this is one of the strongest things you can do. — Clarissa Pinkola Estes
