What if they held an election, and nobody came?

Bernie Sanders is visiting the IU campus, just about a half a mile away, right now. Scheduled to speak at the IU Auditorium at 5 p.m., 15 minutes ago, I was going to walk over. But why stand in a long line and wait to not be admitted, due to lack of space? the place is not that big.

Meanwhile, here’s an interesting Corbett Report. Rather than policies, election debates concern personas. Plus how central planning — for economics, for wars, for nation-building, for whatever! — cannot help but ignore local knowledge — and therefore fail. “Truly the question of believing that one person [“the president’] can somehow decide everything” is ridiculous. One more argument for getting, and staying LOCAL.
