When the little bird showed up on the podium on which Bernie Sanders was standing, I knew intuitively that videos of this scene would go viral, instantly, on both mainstream and alternative media. Which they did. Let’s face it folks, Nature trumps Politics, our tendency to polarize “left” and “right”; and Nature’s seemingly miraculous little signs point the way to how we can reconnect with her, despite our tendency to hate both Earth and each other!

Not surprisingly, Bernie recognized the moment as propitious.

“I think there may be some symbolism here. I know it doesn’t look like it, but that bird is really a dove, asking us for world peace! NO MORE WAR!”

Bernie has found a way to talk about the horrendous military elephant in the room. Besides Tulsi Gabbard, he now has all of Nature on his side.

Which reminds me. Matt Taibbi now weighs in on why the young people (in great roaring, joyous abundance at the above rally in Portland) are right. Do not allow warmonger Hillary Clinton to be the next president of the United States. As Taibbi says: “She has been playing the inside game for so long, she seems to have become lost in it. She behaves like a person who often doesn’t know what the truth is, but instead merely reaches for what is the best answer in that moment, not realizing the difference.”
