Surfing the Aftermath of Putin/Obama at the U.N.

I’ve been reading reports from both MSM and alternative sources about the Putin/Obama drama at the U.N., including the news that neither one was in the hall when the other gave his speech. Including that Putin’s speech ran closer to the 15-minute limit at 22 minutes and Obama bloviated for 45 minutes. Found it odd that Putin was given what I imagine is the the preferred position in the line-up, after Obama.

Couldn’t bring myself to watch Obama, he’s turned into another Pinocchio for me, just like all the rest, all the way back to Lyndon Johnson. Any president comes on the screen and starts mouthing U.S. propaganda, I flinch at the absurdity, turn away.

Didn’t watch Putin yesterday either, although I could have, easily; he still fascinates, especially that he moves and appears so fit and hearty, full of vitality. Very unlike Obama, who seems drawn and dispirited, despite what I hear was his “combative” tone on the podium.

Clearly, the “one exceptional nation” is fading — fast. And everybody is glad except those who desperately need to feel exceptional, most of them in the U.S. Witness McDonald Trump and his minions.

Here’s one article that resonated:

Dueling Ideologies in New York: Putin v. Obama

So, where are we? Here’s some photos that might speak volumes to those who read body and facial language:

At the lunch, after speeches, before their personal meeting:

Note Putin’s slight smile, Obama’s fear and mistrust, feeling of impotence?. . .

Now on to the handshake before the meeting. Putin looks as if he’s sad that it’s come to this, this distrust between two “sovereign” powers. What to do? How to move forward?Obama? Who know’s what’s running through that poor lying manchurian puppet’s brain.

Oh come on. “Smile.”

That’s Obama’s “you are so going to be audited by the IRS look,” followed by the realization he’ll need to find a different revenge tactic for Putin stealing the narcissist’s spotlight.

Photo #3 in this article looks like something straight out of Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum.
