On Starting A Movement: “It’s the first follower that transforms the lone nut into a leader.”

I can attest to this truth, both here in the Green Acres Neighborhood Ecovillage, where my partnership with neighbor Rebecca changed everything over this past year, to other times when I was either the first “lone nut” or the first or second “follower.”

Let’s start to move, everywhere. Just get up and dance. For the times, they are indeed a’changin’.

Maybe we already have too many followers? It’s okay to be one’s own leader.

    • I get where you’re coming from, as it’s where I’m coming from as well! I do think the point of the little video, however, is that until there are at least two people, there’s not much social traction, and we need traction to actually ignite a “movement.” Also, important to recognize all “followers” as equals . . . I had to learn that one, too! Still learning . . .
