GOOD NEWS: Lawrence Lessig's reaches funding goal; 26 game-changing games; "Corporate Octopus' wins prize!

Thanks to the extraordinary example of Aaron Swartz, Harvard Professor Lawrence Lessig had a dream, to reduce the influence of money in politics.

This academic was so determined to follow his dream, that he became an activist. And now the dream is coming true.

“If had missed the $5 million goal, all money would have been returned to the donors.” But they hit the goal, on the day before the 4th of July, 2014.

This one’s local. Our Corporate Octopus won the prize for Best Walking Entry at the 4th of July Parade, Bloomington Indiana. YES! You might say that we were “playing a game” with the public yesterday, helping them, in a humorous way, to see what’s going on under our noses. Besides using money to get rid of money (see above), we need to remember that we are creatures of unlimited imagination, and that whenever we thumb our noses at the so-called Powers That Be, they lose.
