Two Alternative Perspectives on Easter

Both interesting.

Whether or not the supremely iconic man known as “Jesus of Nazareth” actually lived in the flesh almost doesn’t matter. It’s what civilization has done with his supposedly storied life that we need to contemplate. Imagine: worshipping someone because he “died on a cross for our sins.” What sins? Who says we are sinners? And “original sin”? Are they joking? They must be joking.

Here’s a new Lisa Renee post that links the Easter celebration to its synchronous conjunction with this week’s rare Grand Cardinal Cross. As ever, I have trouble understanding some of her esoteric language, but much of it makes enormous sense.
