George Carlin’s diatribe, “We like war”: still true? Maybe not!

On an afternoon when I’ve been preoccupied with my own long-delayed and now all-systems-go project: a roof top solar installation that involves lots of prep: paper work and decision criteria, how big, how much, etc., an appointment with the County Building Department for relevant ordinances, dealing with Duke Energy, checking out different solar installations and types of metal roofs around town — I notice that George Carlin, who knew what makes Americans tick, or until last week’s phenomenal outpouring to Congress — “NO MORE WAR!” — who knew what used to make Americans tick, has been making the internet rounds.
