How these Syrian men love this man who reunites with his small son who he thought was dead . . .

Notice the body language. Clearly, this video demonstrates a culture of connection. Which throws us back on our disconnected American lives. Sitting around entertaining ourselves; or desperate for sustenance and shelter; or working hard at what does not matter to “get ahead”; rich, or poor, we are above all, lonely. What have we done? Where have we gone? What have we lost? How do we return to our inner lives, to each other, to the natural world? See this and this.

Thanks to upworthy.

Nice, Ann but where are the women???? That’s sad to me of their supression. That little boy has a mother, too but we don’t see the women…Their society is imbalanced in a lot of other ways…

THE TIME IS NOW. WE ARE BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN ARMS. YET NOT IN ‘ARMS OF WAR’ IN ‘ARMS OF LOVE’ ARMS THAT ENFOLD YOU. ARMS THAT CARRY YOU. ARMS THAT LIFT YOU INTO YOUR RIGHTFUL PLACE WHERE YOU CAN NO LONGER BE CONTAINED.WHERE YOU CAN NO LONGER BE AT THE MERCY OF THOSE WHO HAVE NOT UNDERSTOOD THE POWER OF LOVE … AND THEMSELVES … IN THE WAY THAT LOVE IS INTENDED.
BUT NOW MY CHILDREN … I BRING YOU HOME. I WELCOME EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU HOME. INTO THE LIGHT OF MY GARDEN OF SURRENDER. WELCOME HOME MY CHILDREN … WELCOME HOME.
