Who’s got the real power? We do: Countering disaster porn.

James Corbett: “If you believe you are a slave, well, then you are already lost. And you might as well sit in a corner and suck your thumb.”

This week’s Corbett Report points out that in the past few years the global conversation has transformed. As examples, he covers how growing global awareness is forcing changes in MSM coverage, fluoride defeat (again!) in Portland, March against Monsanto, Bilderberg, plus a terrific little video from about 21 to 25 minutes from someone I’ve only just heard about here: Richard Grove, of tragedyandhope.com, his ten reasons why we’re still winning. Corbett’s attitude is one I share: that it only takes a small percentage of people to shift the direction of society. And that rather than fighting against the system that would enslave us with our compliance, let’s instead ignore it while we build another from scratch — which we are doing, via permaculture, alternative currencies, localization, community-building, simplifying our lives, opening our minds, learning how to cooperate, on and on.

From an economic point of view:

Countering Disaster Porn

From an activist point of view:

The paradox of power is that the real power is with us, if we have the courage to use it.

    Ann,
Richard Grove has quite a story to tell regarding pre & post 911 and his awakening to ‘things are not as they seem’ reality. Naturally, his site tragedy and hope is a take off on the book of same by Carrolll Quigley which spells out the behind the scenes plan from long ago. Richard has free videos that at the beginning were less polished and then you see the learning curve go off the charts. Richard is probably alive today due to bad NY traffic as he missed the meeting in one of the Towers that was blown up. In his own words, while sitting backed up in traffic a few blocks from the Towers he can tell you ‘ No Plane Flew Overhead and into the Building’, he was in a convertible!

Another site you & your readers will gobble up is Red Ice Radio redicecreations.com which is broad cast out of Sweden. Henrik Palmgren runs one of the most intelligent, mentally stimulating and civil discussions of ALL ideas , treating them Iike pieces of the puzzle and all worthy of civil discourse. He has a newsletter and membership section, truly worth subscribing. Though you can catch the first hour of the discussions he’s recorded on the newsletter for free and the 2nd hour is for members only. The archive is for members only, though once and awhile accessing a few links from previous shows opens some doors. Amazing topics from A-Z and no one raises there voice, it’s fabulous dialogue. Indulge yourself!

  2. I’m looking for a blogger who will serve as my surrogate, to copy and post my activist posts on “Patch” under your own name. I’ll do the same for you, if you want. READ MORE>>> http://tinyurl.com/oxdlwtp
