No coloring: Eclipse is not visible at all
Note: Actual eclipse visibility depends on weather conditions and line of sight to the Moon.
Note that since it is a penumbral eclipse, it can be hard to see, as the moon will only be a bit fainter.

Today, at 3:58 p.m. EDT, a partial Full Moon eclipse, occuring, as it only can, during a Full Moon, this one at 5°40 Taurus/Scorpio.

Here’s wikipedia, on Full Moon/Eclipses:

“A lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes directly behind the Earth into its umbra (shadow). This can occur only when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are aligned (in “syzygy“) exactly, or very closely so, with the Earth in the middle. Hence, a lunar eclipse can only occur the night of a full moon. The type and length of an eclipse depend upon the Moon’s location relative to its orbital nodes. Unlike a solar eclipse, which can only be viewed from a certain relatively small area of the world, a lunar eclipse may be viewed from anywhere on the night side of the Earth. A lunar eclipse lasts for a few hours, whereas a total solar eclipse lasts for only a few minutes at any given place, due to the smaller size of the moon’s shadow.”

This eclipse occurs at 5°40 Sun in Taurus/Moon in Scorpio. The strong, fixed opposition between these two bodies is heightened by the continuing explosive conjunction of Mars and the Sun, and today’s forming conjunction of Moon and Saturn (exact about six hours later), inviting self-discipline as both corrective and lens through which to focus powerful emotional energies. See this, and this, for background.

Sun/Mars v. Moon/Saturn:

• Move down into your Taurean body to reconnect with the Taurean Earth. Get your hands in the soil. Walk upon her good ground. Drink in her air, water, breezes. Slow down and get real.

• Allow the deep passions that fuel you to blow through their hiding places in the cells of your body so that they may move through this newly reconnected earthy body of yours, vibrating and re-energizing your very being, all of you, the whole of who you are: body/mind/spirt.

• Breathe, Earth to Sky, Sky to Earth, Below to Above, Above to Below with the whole of you as Earth’s antenna, sensitive to cosmic forces, vibrating to earth’s heartbeat.

INHALE: the cosmos through the crown chakra down through your vibrating body into Mother Earth.

EXHALE: the gunk within yourself, the pollution within our Mother Earth, up up up through your vibrating body out the crown chakra, spin it up and out, out, into the cosmos — which, of course, being infinite, and infinitely loving, can absorb and transform it.

P.S. eclipses are astrologically associated with beginnings and endings. Let’s declare this one an end to our disconnectedness: from our bodies, the Earth and each other. Let’s declare this one a new beginning, to connectedness, and with Scorpio, let’s face it! embrace it! — full communion.

Thomas Berry: “the world is not a collection of objects but a communion of subjects.”

Fascinating and timely encouragement from the cosmos (and you!) ~ ~ And syzygy? Extraordinary word, so gravitational! Even though we can’t see the eclipse from our little corner of the world, its effects and shadow play are provocative and inspiring. Message received 🙂 Thanks so much, Ann.

So in alignment with messages received earlier by this one.
    Thank you.
