Well, what do you know. It’s even more awful than I suspected. The TSA is going to substitute Rapiscan backscatter machines with the same dangerous technology from another company. $245 M contract signed months ago. And guess what? They’re going to transfer the old ones to police and military. So it goes in the “bottom-line” end-game of predatory, shock-doctrine, casino capitalism where the financial/geopolitical system is structured in such a way that — unless we get off the merry-go-round altogether or at least become very very conscious of the implications of our thoughts words and deeds — we end up cannabilizing each other for profit.
