For the next four days . . .

. . . I will be mostly off-line, playing with my sons and grandkids. Today, we make a snow fort in the front yard. Meanwhile, here are two more from Laurel.

First, a possibly very serious piece. I saw this the other day and didn’t know what to make of it. So I left it alone. Here it is, now that she confirms that yes, it may be very important.

Official Announcement from The One People’s Public Trust

Next, an “art film inspired by 12.21.12.” Sorry. It won’t load here.

“from Laurel.” Laurel who? And how, when, where does she “confirm” that the “official announcement” is important? Who are the people putting out this “announcement”? What is the authority that has “duly witnessed” the document? There are so many verbal errors in the hyper-legalese, it starts to sound like buffoonery. I am inclined to keep my distance, until further evidence is brought forward.

Gotta say this just struck me as about the most absurd thing I’ve read recently. And I’ve read a lot of absurd things…

Regarding the ‘Official Announcement from The One People’s Public Trust’ linked above:

In 2009, Zimbabwe introduced a $100 trillion bill; at the time, a loaf of bread cost $300 billion.

One can now purchase those $100 trillion notes on Amazon for 69¢ US each.

Would anyone care to guess how much a loaf of bread would cost if everyone on the planet suddenly had $5 billion at their disposal?

Don’t believe there would be any super hyperinflation? OK then, care to guess how long before all 400+ nuclear power plants would melt down because all their operators are out purchasing yachts instead of going to work? Or….
