David Icke: “Stuff Your Foreclosure. We Ain’t Moving!”

I always wondered what would happen if all of us simply stopped paying off the big banks — credit cards, rents, mortgages — just stopped. Made a collective agreement, that on a certain day we would disconnect from the global financial system in that way.

We’d need to trust each other enough to sense that we would all actually do it.

That’s the hard part. That’s the invisible, effervescent energy field we’re learning how to generate, now. Each of us, as we breath in light and love, breathe out light and love, helps to intensify the luminous, harmonious atmosphere that holds us all in its embrace, keeps us safe, and sound, together — no matter what: collective human resilience in the face of chaos.

Because yes, we’d need to be prepared for blowback, and temporary chaos.

But how bad could the blowback be, really, if there were so many of us, say at least a few billion of us, who disconnected from the .0001%, and announced, with Howard Beale, on cue, windows flung open and laughing: “We’re mad as hell and we’re not going to take it anymore!” Really.

And as for chaos — if we have first created that immensely powerful atmosphere of collective trust in the well-being of all — sharing what we have, asking for what we need — then any chaos will be short-lived, too.

Perhaps you begin to sense why I so value Gift Circles? They are practice.

BTW: Our Gift Circle met last night, in the GANG garden, scene of Saturday’s magical Garden Party on the 25th Anniversary of Harmonic Convergence . . .

  1. Mythical Gardenguest says:

Last night on Tavis Smiley’s radio show, he broadcast a program from George Washington University with such guests as Suze Orman, the financial guru (who I’ve never paid attention to before, dismissing her as part of “the system” – how wrong I was!), Michael Moore filmmaker, and Cornel West. Suze said, “we have to stop buying things from the multinational corporations and stop giving our power to Wall Street!” (may have gotten quote slightly off, but that was the gist)
