Olbermann and Taibbi: "The one issue that everybody can agree upon, is this problem of money in politics."

From Countdown, January 4, 2012. Thanks to truthdig.com, for the pointer. Truthdig mentions that both conservatives and progressives could rally around reversing Citizens United. Taibbi says OWS and the Tea Party, and Ron Paul, could rally around this, too. That nobody wants to live in a country when every election is won by the candidate with most money. Taibbi: “Yet, the problem is, they donate to both parties. So any third party would have to overcome money on both sides.” The 2012 election, they agree, is “a lost cause.”
