Woke up at 5:50 am and started to surf twitter feeds. 6:27 am the situation finally shifted. “Park clean up” (and camp eviction) NOT GONNA HAPPEN! Here’s truthout.org’s live update:

Band strikes up “we shall overcome” and crowd sings along. – 6:43 a.m. EST

Police “school buses” just drove by. Packing it in or gearing up? – 6:41 a.m. EST

Chant: “We are the 99 percent” echoes throughout lower Manhattan. – 6:40 a.m. EST

Jubilation and joy sweep the packed crowd. Solidarity and love is the only way to express. – 6:37 a.m. EST

Bloomberg folds. Smart move. – 6:30 a.m. EST

BREAKING NEWS: CNN just reported that Bloomberg has “postponed” the Liberty Park cleanup. No time given for when the cleanup will take place, or if it ever will. – WRP, 6:27 a.m. EST

UAW and NYCLU have arrived. – 6:25 a.m. EST

Everyone standing in the park. Going to overflow with #solidarity. Can they arrest 5000? It’d take all day. – 6:12 a.m. EST
