Uranus square Pluto: "Tit for tat," no, tit for tit!

Here’s an all-time David and Goliath story. I about laughed out loud. It took a 61-year-old woman, a real crone with nothing more to lose, to have the nerve to do the obvious. Geez, why didn’t I think about that last time I refused to be radiated and submitted to the grope instead? My way of working with the situation is to feel for the TSA agent, who no doubt needs that job, and at least the female agents I’ve been partnered with in this strange public intimacy ritual have been tasteful and kind. But geez! you go gurl!

Update, next day: changed my mind. I’d never grope the woman’s breast, it’s not in me to hurt someone deliberately. But what is in me is to celebrate somebody doing something that makes us catch our breath, go wow! And ultimately, even if the TSA agent is also a victim of the vicious system that stages this kind of shame and fear-inducing event, still, when you get right down to it, both women are human beings. At some point our identities strip away and leave us face to face. What then, will we say to one another? How then, will we feel? Will we dare to place our hands on each other’s hearts, feel them beating there?

PHOENIX – We hear a lot of complaints about security screeners groping airline passengers.

But now, a Colorado woman is accused of putting her hands on a TSA agent at Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix.

Court records show 61-year-old Yukari Mihamae grabbed the left breast of the female agent Thursday at the Terminal 4 checkpoint.

Police say she squeezed and twisted the agent’s breast with both hands.

Officers say Mihamae admitted to the crime.

There’s no word why she touched the agent.

Mihamae now faces a felony count of sexual abuse.

According to court records, she lives in Longmont, Colorado and is self-employed.
